Security Officer - Manufacturing

As a Security Officer at our manufacturing facility in Cumberland, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding company assets and ensuring the safety of our associates. You will oversee the physical security of the location, monitor security systems, and respond to emergencies, contributing to a secure and welcoming environment.

• Oversee the physical security of the location, including monitoring CCTV, card access, and burglar alarm systems.
• Perform physical inspections and tours of the building as required.
• Monitor building entries to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors.
• Document, record, and escort visitors, ensuring all employees are authorized for entry.
• Operate metal detection processes for high-security areas and inspect discarded materials.
• Respond to building emergencies, including burglar and fire alarm activations and medical emergencies.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English and computer literate.
• Available to work rotational shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate and enforce security procedures with all levels of staff.
• Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
• Previous experience in distribution center, manufacturing, or corporate security preferred.
• Technical-level knowledge of computers preferred.
