Selling And Service Assistant

Summary

The Selling And Service Assistant supports front- and back-of-house operations at the Houston boutique, ensuring accurate transaction processing and a high level of client service. The role assists the sales team with merchandising, stockroom tasks, and after-sales administration while maintaining CRM records and POS accuracy. Regular in-person work in a fast-paced luxury retail environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Process point-of-sale transactions, assist with opening and closing procedures, and support POS decisions with management.
• Provide prompt, friendly client service including wrapping, packaging, and answering phones.
• Support sales floor merchandising, replenishment, straightening, and returning merchandise to the floor.
• Assist with stockroom operations including tagging, ticketing, inventory preparation, and retrieving stock.
• Log and manage after-sales items such as repairs and client communications and maintain accurate CRM records.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Experience with POS and cash handling strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with composure and to lift up to 25 lbs; regular in-person work required.
