Summary
The Selling and Service Assistant supports front and back of house boutique operations, ensuring transaction accuracy and assisting after sales services while delivering high levels of client service in a fast paced luxury environment.
Responsibilities
- Process point of sale transactions accurately at the register
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and POS decisions with management
- Support sales team with merchandising, retrieving stock and preparing stock room
- Maintain selling floor standards and ensure packaging and supplies are stocked
- Support stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging and ticketing
- Assist with after sales services such as logging repairs and contacting clients
- Record detailed CRM files of purchase history and sales interactions
- Answer phones and provide timely friendly customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience, luxury environment preferred
- Experience with POS and cash handling strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, stay detail oriented and organized
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure
- Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance
