Summary
The Selling and Service Assistant provides clerical and operational support for front and back of house boutique functions, ensuring accuracy of transactions and supporting after sales services while delivering high levels of client service in a fast paced luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Process point of sale transactions accurately at the register including sales and repairs
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and POS decisions with management
- Provide client facing service such as greeting, assisting, wrapping and packaging
- Support sales team with merchandising, returning merchandise to floor and retrieving stock
- Maintain selling floor presentation and ensure supplies are stocked
- Assist with stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging and ticketing
- Support after sales tasks such as logging repairs and contacting clients
- Maintain detailed CRM records of client interactions and purchases
- Answer phones and provide timely customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience, luxury environment preferred
- Experience with POS and cash handling strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi task and strong organizational skills
- Detail oriented with computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure and grace
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
