Selling And Service Specialist - Maison Madison

Summary

The Selling and Service Specialist provides clerical and client-facing support for front- and back-of-house operations at the Maison Madison boutique. The role ensures accurate processing of transactions, assists with appointment preparation and post-sale follow-up, and partners with sales and concierge teams to deliver a personalized client experience. The position also supports merchandising, stockroom operations, CRM accuracy, and daily POS activities.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify point-of-sale transactions, charge sends, transfers, and cash handling accurately.
• Prepare and host client appointments: item pulls, fitting room setup, and calendar scheduling.
• Support post-sale activity including shipping coordination, repairs, alterations, and personalization follow-up.
• Maintain detailed CRM client records and communication notes.
• Assist merchandising duties: hanging, returning merchandise to floor, replenishment, ticketing, and EAS tagging.
• Support stockroom operations and physical inventory preparation.
• Answer phones, manage client inquiries, and assist with in-store events and gifting initiatives.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure professional client presentation including wrapping/packaging.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail or selling experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems, Retail Operating Systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance.
