Selling Manager

Summary

The Selling Manager is a store leadership role responsible for executing strategic plans to drive sales performance and ensure a profitable business. This role coaches and develops the sales team, monitors KPIs, supports merchandising and clienteling strategies, and helps deliver a consistent customer experience aligned with brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor and model selling behaviors
• Coach, provide feedback, and develop sales team members
• Assign and manage daily and weekly tasks, goals, and priorities
• Monitor sales metrics and communicate performance to the team
• Implement clienteling strategies and support promotional activities
• Support inventory control and merchandising opportunities
• Supervise cash transactions and register balancing
• Participate in recruitment and interviews as needed
• Champion new technology and company cultural focus areas

Requirements

• Retail supervisory or similar industry experience
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building customer relationships
• Strong communication, planning, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to operate register and be on feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate physical tasks
• Fashion awareness and business acumen preferred
