Summary
The Selling Supervisor mentors sales associates to deliver an elevated customer experience, drives category management and sales objectives, maintains high operational and visual merchandising standards, and assists with daily team supervision in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
- Coach and empower sales team to maximize sales and transaction value
- Coordinate client relationship resources to provide elevated service
- Support store manager with onboarding and development of staff
- Assist with stock, store operations, and after sales as needed
- Utilize POS and inventory management systems accurately
- Open and close store following company procedures and ensure till accuracy
- Partner with Visual Manager to implement merchandising standards
- Supervise team and apply company policies in absence of store management
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience preferably in luxury retail
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Business school, university degree, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with general software such as Word and Excel
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to motivate teams and drive results
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Attention to inventory accuracy and shrink reduction
