Job Description

Summary

The Selling Supervisor - Childrens leads the store sales team to drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role executes daily business objectives, coaches and develops sales associates, and participates in store operations while selling on the floor approximately 50% of the time. The position supports merchandising, inventory control, and reporting to store management to meet KPIs and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop and provide feedback to the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Sell on the sales floor, implement clienteling strategies, and execute promotional activities and sales events
  • Monitor sales metrics, communicate performance data, and support execution of merchandising and category opportunities
  • Support inventory control, supervise daily cash transactions and register balancing, and ensure operational productivity standards
  • Participate in recruitment and training efforts and act as a mentor to employees

Requirements

  • Retail supervisory or similar industry experience with demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk and operate a register for multiple hours and to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel as required
  • Strong planning, prioritization and customer service skills with a proven track record of building positive relationships
