Summary
The Selling Supervisor supports sales and customer service objectives while maintaining operational and asset protection standards for the boutique. This role reports to the Managing Director and works collaboratively with the sales and support teams to deliver a high level of luxury client service in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet individual monthly and annual sales goals and contribute to boutique targets
- Organize and prioritize the selling floor to enhance the client experience and support sales
- Maintain stock of bags, boxes, stationery and merchandising supplies and follow visual guidelines
- Process and ensure accuracy of all POS transactions including receipts and CRM updates
- Open and close tills and complete daily till reconciliation and reporting
- Approve routine returns and exchanges and obtain management approval for exceptions
- Follow opening and closing procedures including alarm and store access protocols
- Participate in inventory preparation and monthly cycle counts
- Provide high levels of client service including greeting assisting and packaging at POS
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and or supervisory capacity
- Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi task work independently and collaborate with a team
- Open availability to meet business needs including flexible scheduling
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
- Attention to asset protection procedures and key control practices
