Summary
The Selling Supervisor supports the management team to achieve store sales goals and maximize profitability by supervising the store team and enforcing company programs, policies, and procedures. The role acts as a positive brand ambassador, provides high-touch customer service, and may assume store management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. Key focus areas include sales, merchandising, operations, training, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
- Assist management to meet store sales targets and KPI objectives.
- Supervise and support store staff, promote a professional and sales-oriented environment, and lead store meetings as directed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, build and maintain client book records, and schedule client appointments.
- Assist with visual merchandising, ensure brand presentation standards are maintained, and provide daily product training to staff.
- Support inventory control and loss prevention procedures and assist with accurate stock takes.
- Help organize and deliver store training programs and report on team development and performance.
- Implement company policies and maintain compliance with local health, safety, and employment regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a client-driven environment in a lead sales or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and styling abilities with knowledge of fashion trends and product presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Preferred: four-year degree or equivalent, 3+ years supervisory experience, and prior experience in a luxury or high-end, client-based environment.
