Job Description

Summary

The Selling Supervisor supports store management to execute strategic plans that ensure a profitable business and deliver a consistent customer experience. This role assigns and manages tasks and priorities for the sales associate team and champions new selling tools and technology to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Support store management in analyzing business trends and executing store initiatives
  • Communicate sales and profit performance tools to the store team
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve customer service issues
  • Support client development and conduct community outreach
  • Participate in recruitment and interviewing to build the store team
  • Provide coaching and feedback to develop team talent
  • Support team training and provide feedback on product and team performance
  • Maintain inventory control and operational management to uphold productivity
  • Champion new selling technology and More Ways to Shop techniques

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent a plus
  • Retail management or similar industry experience in a high-volume specialty environment
  • Effective communication skills with customers and store personnel
  • Ability to stand, walk, maneuver the sales floor and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to operate the register and work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Strong business acumen and planning and prioritization skills
