Summary
The Selling Supervisor is a member of the Store Management team responsible for executing strategic plans to drive profitable business results, championing new selling tools, and managing daily business objectives and the sales associate team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Support Store Management in analyzing business trends and executing store initiatives
- Communicate sales and profit performance tools and resources to the team
- Handle customer complaints and resolve customer service issues to uphold brand expectations
- Support client development strategy including community outreach in the market
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing to build and develop the store team
- Provide feedback and coaching to support talent development and training initiatives
- Maintain inventory control and operational management to uphold productivity standards
- Champion new technology and New Ways of Selling techniques to drive results
- Ensure the sales floor and store standards exceed expectations
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent a plus
- Retail management or similar industry experience in a high volume or high profile specialty environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register and perform physical tasks including standing, walking and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and possible travel
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships
- Business acumen with strong planning prioritization and time management skills
