Selling Supervisor

Summary

The Selling Supervisor supports store leadership in executing business plans and achieving sales goals. This role leads and develops the sales team, delivers a strong customer experience, and helps manage daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop team members, monitor sales targets and KPIs, and model effective selling behaviors.
• Sell on the sales floor, use clienteling strategies, and support promotional events and customer concerns.
• Communicate performance results and product opportunities, and support merchandising and inventory control.
• Supervise cash transactions, deposits, and register balancing while ensuring compliance with policies and safety requirements.
• Participate in recruitment and interviews as needed, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Retail supervisory or similar industry experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Business acumen and the ability to build positive working relationships with customers, management, and coworkers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, operate a register, stand and move for extended periods, and lift or climb up to 30 pounds.
• Fashion industry awareness is a plus.
