Job Description

Summary

The Selling Supervisor is a store leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, coaching the sales team, and executing daily and weekly business objectives to ensure a profitable store. This role models selling behaviors, monitors sales metrics, and supports store operations to enhance customer satisfaction and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop sales team to drive performance and meet sales targets
  • Monitor KPIs and share performance data with the team
  • Sell 50% of the time and implement clienteling strategies
  • Execute promotional activities and sales events
  • Support inventory control and maintain productivity standards
  • Supervise daily cash transactions and register balancing
  • Participate in recruitment and provide feedback on team development
  • Champion new selling technologies and communicate tools to the team
  • Ensure consistent customer experience and escalate concerns as needed

Requirements

  • Retail supervisory or similar industry experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to operate register and remain on feet for multiple hours
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver the sales floor
  • Flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and possible travel
  • Proven track record building positive customer and coworker relationships
  • Business acumen with strong planning and time management skills
