Job Description

Summary

The Selling Supervisor is a member of the store leadership team, helping execute business plans and drive sales performance. This role coaches and develops the sales team, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports store operations while leading by example on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering collaboration and supporting training.
  • Monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics; communicate results and strategies to the team.
  • Sell approximately 50% of the time and implement clienteling strategies to build customer loyalty.
  • Execute sales events, support customer concerns, and promote new selling technologies.
  • Support merchandising, inventory control, cash handling, and daily store operations.
  • Participate in recruitment as needed and ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Retail supervisory or similar industry experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and apply business acumen.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and lift or climb up to 30 pounds.
