Job Description

Summary

As a Selling and Service Assistant at Hermès Austin, you will play a crucial role in supporting both front and back of house operations in a luxury retail environment. You will ensure the accuracy of transactions and provide exceptional service to clients, contributing to a seamless shopping experience.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately process sales transactions and assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Provide high levels of service, including greeting clients and assisting with wrapping and packaging.
  • Support the sales team by managing merchandise and maintaining stockroom operations.
  • Organize workstations and selling floors to support sales efforts.
  • Assist in after-sales services, including logging repairs and maintaining client records.
  • Answer phones and provide friendly customer service.
Requirements
  • 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with POS and cash handling preferred.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to handle difficult situations with grace and composure.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
