Senior Accountant

Summary

Senior Accountant responsible for supporting month-end close and financial reporting for the home office. The role involves preparing accurate journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with internal controls and audit activities. This position partners with cross-functional teams to analyze variances and improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close tasks, prepare journal entries, and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Compile and deliver timely financial reports and variance analyses
• Support account reconciliations and resolution of balance sheet items
• Assist with audit requests and maintain documentation for internal controls
• Collaborate with business partners to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Typically 3+ years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or working toward CPA preferred
