Responsibilities- Manage the financial closing process for month-end and year-end, ensuring compliance with IFRS & Group guidelines.
- Collaborate with various teams for general ledger maintenance and reporting.
- Handle fixed asset accounting and related CAPEX reporting.
- Review and analyze trial balance for assigned business areas, providing commentary for variances.
- Execute general accounting functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Monitor and process adjustments for sales and margin postings across distribution channels.
- Engage in inventory accounting, including journal entries and balance sheet analysis.
- Prepare sales, margin, inventory, and intercompany management reports.
- Analyze and reconcile gift certificates, merchandise credits, and customer deposit accounts.
- Prepare monthly lease accounting entries.
- Support unclaimed property reporting and state filings.
- Participate in process improvement projects to ensure internal controls compliance.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support ad-hoc accounting projects and participate in system testing.
Requirements- Accounting degree with a minimum of five years of experience.
- Understanding of financial concepts and experience in data analytics.
- Result-oriented team player with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- High proficiency in written and verbal communication.
