Summary
The Senior Application Development Analyst will support a transformation of the enterprise distribution solution and processes. The role involves analyzing a complex distribution technology environment, gathering requirements, and designing, developing, and testing capabilities across connected systems. The analyst will also lead project resources and support successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives through successful completion and provide direction to less senior project resources.
- Gather and analyze requirements, perform gap and fit analysis, and design solutions and processes.
- Analyze and document existing systems, business processes, and distribution technology environments.
- Develop and maintain requirements, functional and solution designs, test strategies, test scripts, and project status reports.
- Manage implementation of designed solutions, test applications and interfaces, validate results, and support user acceptance testing and training.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and resources across departments and regions.
Requirements
- Experience with distribution solutions, processes, implementation, and support, including Manhattan WMi/PKMS or equivalent systems.
- IT business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, gap and fit analysis, solution design, process design, and software development lifecycle work.
- Experience designing and testing applications and interfaces across internal and external systems.
- Advanced project management and leadership skills, strong documentation and communication skills, and experience with project methodologies.
- Ability to work independently in a challenging environment with incomplete documentation and changing priorities.
- Experience with IBM i/iSeries, RPG IV or RPG free, MarkMagic, or Aldon LMi is a plus; Agile or Scrum experience is also a plus.
- Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and holidays as required, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
