Summary
Senior Application Development Analyst to support a transformation to a world class Distribution solution. Role involves understanding a complex distribution ecosystem, capturing requirements, designing and developing solutions, leading supply chain application resources, and supporting testing and implementation across multiple systems and time zones.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to successful completion and provide direction to less senior resources
- Gather requirements, perform gap/fit analysis and design solutions
- Document As Is processes and produce requirements, business process and functional design artifacts
- Manage implementation of designed solutions and coordinate internal and external resources
- Develop test strategy and test scripts and execute testing including UAT
- Provide status reports and maintain required documentation and reports
- Design and test applications and interfaces between internal and external systems
- Work across multiple departments and stakeholders across countries to manage reviews and sign offs
- Be available for weekends, holidays and rotating on call duties as required
Requirements
- Experience in advanced distribution solutions, processes, implementation and support
- Experience with Manhattan WMi PKMS or equivalent distribution systems
- Knowledge of IBM i iSeries, RPG IV or RPG free and MarkMagic is a plus
- Experience with Aldon LMi or similar end user tools is a plus
- Strong IT business analysis, solution and process design skills
- Experience with full SDLC and developing test strategy and executing tests
- Project management and leadership skills and experience with Agile Scrum is a plus
- Ability to work with incomplete documentation, solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to train and support users
