Summary
The Senior Boutique Director is responsible for overall boutique performance, operations, and team and client development for the Waikiki and Ala Moana locations. This role drives sales generation, manages budgets and inventory controls, coordinates merchandising and events, and ensures an outstanding client experience. The director leads the leadership and operations teams to execute strategy and maintain compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of annual boutique sales goals across all product categories.
- Lead and develop the leadership team to coach Sales Associates and maximize individual sales and client development.
- Ensure exceptional client service and oversee in-store promotions, trunk shows, and events to increase traffic and sales.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll compliance, commercial expenses, and boutique operating budget.
- Partner with HR on recruitment, hiring, and employee relations; conduct regular management touchbases.
- Coordinate visual merchandising and product knowledge initiatives with Merchants and Training Team.
- Oversee operational processes including shipping and receiving, inventory control, aftersales, and loss prevention.
- Review operational reports, inventory paperwork, and safety/security procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee both boutiques and develop strategies to improve service, efficiency, and productivity.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of boutique management experience in luxury retail.
- Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry and high‑net‑worth clientele.
- Proven ability to develop, motivate, and train leadership teams and staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow‑through skills.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Work a full‑time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; travel as needed.
- Ability to operate required equipment and apply company policies and procedures.
