Summary
The Senior Business Analyst, Inbound Planning will support end-to-end inbound planning across first-mile transportation, warehouses, middle-mile transportation and stores. This role partners cross-functionally to translate business needs into executable plans, enhance forecasting and planning models, and create decision-ready reporting and dashboards to track key KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Drive integrated planning rhythm for first-mile, warehouses, middle-mile and stores and maintain plan updates in Anaplan and downstream tools.
- Own end-to-end Anaplan plan cycle updates with attention to detail and version control.
- Create and maintain reporting and telemetry to support weekly and monthly routines and provide actionable insights.
- Perform ad hoc data pulls and analyses, partnering with analytics and data science to validate assumptions and improve models.
- Support weekly accuracy bridging and monthly plan change share-outs with clear narratives and visualizations.
- Translate near-term operational signals and mid-term receipt plans into operational plans.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Inventory Flow, Inventory Placement, and Operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience with supply chain or operations exposure.
- BA or BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with SQL, Tableau, and Looker; Anaplan experience is a plus.
- Experience extracting, cleaning, and modeling large datasets and translating results into visualizations and recommendations.
- Familiarity with forecasting concepts, accuracy measurement, and bridging techniques.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
- Attention to detail, problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize in ambiguous environments.
