Job Description

Summary

The Senior Business Development Manager oversees merchandising, demand planning, strategic analysis, and project management for Hublot of America, supporting both Americas wholesale and company-owned retail stores. This role drives inventory planning, distribution strategy, competitive analysis, and enhancements to sales tracking tools while partnering with retail, wholesale, finance and international teams. The manager prepares commercial reporting and presentations to inform product, pricing and assortment decisions that maximize sell-through and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line sales and profit growth by aligning inventory plans with commercial trends and assortment strategies.
  • Analyze SKU-level cost, gross margin, sales performance and competitive positioning to inform pricing and product decisions.
  • Develop bottom-up and top-down forecasts for wholesale and corporate channels; manage SKU-level demand planning and replenishment.
  • Oversee monthly and weekly commercial reporting; ensure data integrity and provide insights for senior management and Swiss counterparts.
  • Partner with VP Retail, Wholesale and Operations to define distribution strategy, retailer assortments and holiday planning.
  • Manage inventory purchases for the Americas subsidiary (via Anaplan) and oversee retailer returns and year-end return strategy.
  • Prepare strategic presentations and ad hoc analyses on sales, inventory and market trends to support business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance; MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with prior retail experience required; luxury/watch sector experience preferred.
  • Expert Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables); proficiency with reporting and planning tools (Power BI, Cognos, Salesforce, Anaplan, SAP) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and communication skills with experience in merchandising and demand planning best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally while leading high-performing teams.
