Summary
The Senior Data Analyst is a lead individual contributor who collects, analyzes, and presents data to improve decision-making across the company. They lead projects throughout the lifecycle, design scalable BI solutions, communicate insights to stakeholders, and mentor junior team members while driving technical standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from problem definition through delivery and communicate key deliverables to stakeholders
- Break down ambiguous projects into tasks, delegate when appropriate, and guide to completion
- Design develop and manage scalable business intelligence solutions including front-end visualizations and back-end data infrastructure
- Streamline ETL processes and manage complex suites of dashboards with monitoring strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to identify problems and propose analytics driven solutions
- Work with leadership to influence and define the analytics roadmap
- Mentor junior team members and participate in programs that foster mentorship
- Research evaluate and evangelize emerging trends and technologies to elevate team skills
Requirements
- 1+ years hands-on development experience with Looker Core including LookML
- 5+ years related professional experience in analytics
- 5+ years developing and deploying production level SQL queries
- 3+ years experience with advanced BI visualization and dashboard management
- Professional experience using R or Python with expert knowledge of at least one language
- Experience with conversation analytics and working with LLMs and AI technologies
- Familiarity with version control systems such as git and ability to drive coding standards
- Clear effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
