Responsibilities- Execute presentation quality sketches for footwear concepts, hardware, and details.
- Research market trends for innovative ideas, product awareness, and pricing to produce competitive products.
- Track current shape and material trends through various media and shopping.
- Collaborate with the Senior Brand Creative Director to initiate seasonal concepts using tear sheets, material swatches, and sketches.
- Lead the development of design concept boards and oversee product from concept to production.
- Render CADS in Illustrator and Photoshop and present ideas digitally.
- Lead hardware development and attend prototype reviews and fittings.
- Communicate with vendors and factories throughout product development phases.
- Partner with Merchandising and Product Development from prototypes to market samples.
- Maintain and organize the reference library and create seasonal CADs.
Requirements- Past experience as a Footwear Designer.
- Knowledgeable about current luxury market trends and footwear construction.
- Strong technical skills in AI, Photoshop, Illustrator, and hand sketching.
- Ability to create full-scale technical specs and physical mock-ups.
- Proficient in sketching and illustrating with multitasking skills.
- Experience in communicating development with factories.
