Senior Distribution Center Associate

Summary

As a Senior Distribution Center Associate you will support inventory accuracy, stock rotation and quality control in a fast-paced distribution center. You will operate forklifts and other power equipment to move, stage and pick product while collaborating with team members and leadership. The role requires a focus on safe practices and maintaining clean, orderly facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment
• Perform picking, receiving, put-away, and load functions using radio equipment to meet customer service standards
• Maintain records and reports to ensure inventory control and security
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage and report quality variances
• Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion and follow safety procedures

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution experience
• Basic math and reading skills and strong understanding of inventory flow
• Superior organization, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and influence others and a commitment to quality with strong attention to detail
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
