Summary
Senior Engineer II responsible for designing and building full stack solutions across web, mobile, and backend services to deliver scalable customer experiences. The role partners with cross functional teams to drive architecture, code quality, testing, and DevOps practices while mentoring other engineers and exploring AI powered development tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full stack solutions spanning Web UI, mobile, APIs, and infrastructure
- Drive system design and architectural decisions for scalable high performance services
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to influence priorities and tradeoffs
- Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, automation, and CI CD pipelines
- Support cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment processes
- Build reusable cross platform components for future use
- Conduct design and code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Explore and champion AI powered development tools and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of professional experience delivering software across web, mobile, and backend services
- Proficiency in iOS Swift and/or Android Kotlin and mobile first design principles
- Experience with React.js for modern web applications
- Backend proficiency with Java or Node.js and RESTful microservices
- Experience with cloud technologies, AWS preferred
- Familiarity with databases including NoSQL and experience with CI CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with system scaling and performance testing
