Senior Engineer - Inventory Ordering

Summary

Senior Engineer on the Inventory Ordering team responsible for designing, building and supporting cloud native applications and services that power purchase order management and inventory ordering. This role contributes across the software lifecycle including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment and production support while working in an agile team environment and collaborating with cross functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions using Java, Spring Boot and modern web frameworks.
• Develop cloud native applications and integrate with AWS Azure or GCP services.
• Create and maintain interfaces with internal systems and external vendor applications.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote clean consistent maintainable code.
• Implement CI CD pipelines and support build release processes to deploy production software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and participate in rotating 24x7 support shifts.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and apply industry best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers designers testers and infrastructure and security teams to deliver enhancements and fixes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with Java Spring Boot and familiarity with PL/SQL and Oracle integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP and container technologies Docker Kubernetes.
• Strong frontend skills with HTML5 CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI CD tools version control using Git and observability monitoring and alerting practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in Agile Scrum teams.
