Senior Engineering Manager Cloud Engineering

Summary

Experienced leader to manage Cloud Engineering and oversee multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS GCP and Azure. Lead a team designing and maintaining secure scalable cost effective cloud platforms while collaborating with stakeholders to meet engineering standards business needs and cloud financial goals. Oversee projects audits vendor relationships and implement tools for monitoring managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Engineering team in designing architecting and managing cloud services and stacks
• Oversee and secure multi cloud infrastructure for performance scalability compliance and cost efficiency
• Provide guidance on secure cloud design practices and well architected frameworks
• Allocate resources for design reviews and support engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to build cloud expertise and drive continuous improvement
• Support development deployment and monitoring of internal tools for cloud management and cost control
• Evaluate and implement cloud security solutions and oversee audit processes
• Manage cloud financial operations including budgeting forecasting and cost optimization
• Maintain vendor relationships and resource key projects to ensure on time delivery

Requirements

• 10 plus years of engineering experience
• 5 plus years in leadership roles managing multi disciplinary teams
• Expertise across AWS GCP and Azure with multi account AWS experience
• Experience applying cloud provider well architected frameworks
• Hands on experience in cloud operations deployment monitoring incident response and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of cloud networking IAM and security best practices
• Experience managing cloud audits and implementing security measures
• Proven skills in cloud financial operations budgeting and cost forecasting
• Familiarity with containerization orchestration and automation tools like Kubernetes Terraform and CloudFormation
