SummaryAs a Senior Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing both in-person and virtual events for the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation. This position involves extensive travel to manage in-person events and oversee the Foundation's virtual sales program, ensuring seamless operations and marketing execution. You will also support special initiatives to strengthen relationships with industry partners and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and execute a portfolio of in-person fundraising events, managing logistics, communications, budgeting, and volunteer recruitment/management.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue layout, travel arrangements, merchandise inventory, and on-site execution.
- Serve as a point of contact for EssilorLuxottica business units to ensure seamless collaboration with event planning and associate engagement.
- Evaluate and analyze event performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements to optimize future events.
- Oversee and enhance the virtual sales program, focusing on website functionality, inventory management, marketing strategies, and special promotions.
- Work with the operations team to optimize logistics and shipping processes for virtual sales.
- Partner with communications teams to enhance virtual sale visibility and participation.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of event donors, partners, and volunteers.
- Respond to Sale for Sight email inquiries.
- Coordinate and support additional special events, including corporate engagement events and EssilorLuxottica brand initiatives.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or a related role.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, including nights and weekends, to manage 20-25 Sale for Sight events annually (valid US passport required).
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with superior organizational skills.
- Prior experience with volunteer recruitment and management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments.
