Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst supports the FP&A team and partners with executives and business leaders. This role develops forecasts, reports on business performance, and delivers financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans, and report results against forecasts.
- Support monthly close and explain variances from forecast.
- Analyze business results, KPIs, and trends, and communicate insights to leadership.
- Create and automate operational reports and dashboards.
- Partner with department heads to identify risks, build sensitivity analyses, and recommend solutions.
- Prepare materials for earnings releases, board meetings, and executive reviews.
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.
- Strong Excel skills; VBA familiarity is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, with a strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and able to communicate financial data and recommendations effectively.
- Knowledge of Essbase, Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud, or Oracle Financials is a plus.
