Summary
Senior Associate supporting Global Citizenship and Sustainability financial reporting, responsible for advancing reporting strategy, implementing controls, validating ESG data, and coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate disclosures and readiness for evolving regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of GC&S reporting strategy and transition to regulatory disclosures
- Monitor evolving ESG regulations and support readiness efforts
- Contribute to adoption and rollout of ESG reporting tools and educate stakeholders on usage
- Validate qualitative and quantitative ESG data and ensure data governance procedures
- Support implementation and documentation of reporting internal controls
- Coordinate assurance readiness and work with third party auditors
- Coordinate with cross functional teams and external consultants
- Assist in preparing GC&S content for external disclosures including annual reports and filings
- Participate in ESG materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferred in sustainability accounting or finance
- 2 years of professional experience supporting sustainability reporting audit or ESG work
- Knowledge of ESG disclosure frameworks such as GHG Protocol ESRS GRI SASB ISSB TCFD
- Experience with internal controls risk management and ESG risk assessments
- Experience with ESG data and reporting platforms such as Sweep Workiva preferred
- Familiarity with ESG assurance processes and working with third party auditors
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and storytelling skills for translating ESG data
- Ability to work independently and with global cross functional teams
