Job Description

Summary

The Senior Industrial Engineer 2 is a seasoned technical expert responsible for integrating workers, machines, materials, and information to deliver complex products, processes, or systems. This role requires innovative thinking and advanced industry intelligence to provide creative automation solutions that simplify workflows and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead process optimization using continuous improvement methodology for supply chain solutions.
  • Develop and maintain process flow maps for all relevant processes.
  • Analyze and synthesize large data sets to identify root causes of variances and discrepancies.
  • Engage in process, equipment, and system design alternatives.
  • Identify network-wide improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Propose process improvements involving MHE, mechanization, and automation.
  • Conduct time and motion studies and approve engineered labor standards.
  • Lead Standard Work efforts for network-wide solutions.
  • Assess technical documentation to evaluate designs and issues.
  • Lead high complexity projects involving MHE, technology, and robotics.
  • Work with senior leadership to deliver data-driven processes and solutions.
  • Develop business cases and requirements for innovative system solutions.
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Supply Chain Distribution Fulfillment environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Ability to travel 50-75%.
