Job Description

Summary

The Senior Industrial Engineer, Process and Systems Integration will define and implement end to end operational process workflows and system configurations to improve throughput and facility efficiencies across the supply chain network. This role partners with engineering, product, operations and facilities to drive process improvements, automation simulations and standardization across sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document processes, business requirements, and operational user acceptance criteria to increase continuous product flow.
  • Simplify and standardize future end to end supply chain process paths and close gaps between current and future states.
  • Identify and implement warehouse management configuration changes to improve process, people, and equipment workflows.
  • Execute process and automation simulations and implement complex projects, features, and configurations.
  • Monitor and analyze facility performance and direct resources to high impact problems.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to remove bottlenecks and improve material and equipment flow.
  • Ensure practices and configuration changes are documented, communicated, and tracked consistently across sites.
  • Act as a champion for continuous improvement and change management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering in fulfillment or eCommerce operations.
  • 5+ years retail fulfillment experience with strong operational process orientation.
  • Experience with warehouse controls and execution systems such as Manhattan Associates WMS or similar, including design, configuration, testing and implementation.
  • Experience developing metrics, reports, queries and deriving data insights for improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering; Master’s preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on cross functional project teams and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to network facilities approximately 35-40% of the time.
