Senior Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

The Senior Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain in Cedar Rapids will apply technical methods and discipline to recommend and devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, and information. This role involves partnering with Supply Chain Operations leadership and associates within fulfillment and distribution centers to provide creative solutions for process improvement and automation.

• Collect data and perform complex data analysis to drive continuous improvement ideas and projects.
• Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to optimize supply chain solutions for medium to large scope projects.
• Perform time and motion studies and develop insights to improve productivity.
• Lead Standard Work efforts in collaboration with operations and continuous improvement teams.
• Create and deliver AutoCAD layouts for complex space planning and process design improvements.
• Perform benchmark studies and recommend new solutions and technologies.
• Work with operations, product management, and other business partners to deliver data-driven solutions.

• 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience, including 3+ years in a Supply Chain Distribution/Fulfillment environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Simulation, and SQL query highly desired.
• Proven track record of successfully achieving priorities and accomplishing objectives.
