Summary
The Senior Leader, Copy & Localization leads copy operations and assigned localization initiatives supporting global markets. This role manages complex workflows and cross-functional partnerships to improve the consistency, quality, and timely delivery of brand communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day copy and localization projects from intake through final delivery, establishing priorities and coordinating resources.
- Support localization workflows across digital marketing, websites, Sourcebooks, in-store signage, press, hospitality, and other initiatives.
- Partner with linguists, copywriters, editors, creative teams, merchandising, and other stakeholders to align priorities and manage dependencies.
- Guide localization partners on brand voice, tone, copy standards, and quality expectations.
- Develop and refine timelines, status tracking, documentation, glossaries, workflows, and processes.
- Anticipate risks and project needs, resolve roadblocks, balance workloads, and drive accountability across concurrent initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of project management or operations experience, preferably supporting creative, copy, editorial, localization, content, retail, luxury, consumer, or technology teams.
- Experience leading multiple complex projects, setting priorities, building timelines, navigating ambiguity, and driving cross-functional accountability.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, judgment, communication, collaboration, and follow-through.
- Familiarity with localization and translation workflows preferred.
- Experience with tools such as Airtable, Figma, Excel, and Google Workspace preferred.
- French or Italian language knowledge is a plus.
- On-site Monday through Friday at the Home Office in Corte Madera, California, with occasional work outside standard business hours.
