Job Description

Summary

Lead the strategy, design, governance, and delivery of domestic and global benefits programs. This role combines analytical rigor and compassionate employee support to provide accessible, effective healthcare, wellness, and retirement offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee healthcare and wellness program design, governance, and execution, including open enrollment, new hire journeys, and benefits education.
  • Partner with wellness teams, brokers, pharmacy benefit managers, third-party administrators, and vendors to optimize programs, manage costs, and improve outcomes.
  • Resolve complex employee and leadership inquiries with empathy and provide dual-language dialogue.
  • Use claims, utilization, return-on-investment, and cost data to evaluate program performance.
  • Maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA/PFL, and applicable California regulations.
  • Strengthen global benefits governance and lead vendor performance management.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years leading domestic and international benefits programs, ideally serving both corporate and hourly or retail populations.
  • Experience working with consultants and vendors and leading key projects; international experience preferred.
  • Strong financial, analytical, quantitative, communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Canva, Google Suite, benefits administration platforms, and Oracle.
  • CEBS, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification preferred.
