Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, train and mentor direct reports to optimize performance
- Strategically plan and oversee daily workflow and deliverables across functions
- Own P&L management including analysis and reporting
- Align home delivery experience with luxury service standards
- Manage and hold logistics and delivery vendors accountable to cost service and quality metrics
- Drive continual improvement via root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Address and resolve escalated customer service issues promptly
- Visit clients in assigned geographic territory as required
- Ensure compliance with background MVR and drug screening requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years leadership experience in furniture home delivery warehouse operations or similar field
- Experience leading third party carrier providers
- Skilled in hiring training coaching and employee performance management
- Knowledge of profit and loss profit margins accounting and related principles
- Strong written oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making abilities
- Computer literacy with daily use of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Ability to visit clients in assigned territory
