The Senior Manager Transportation leads Last Mile Transportation strategy and execution for customer delivery in key markets. This role manages a team focused on data analytics, operations, and process improvement while partnering across supply chain and logistics to drive transformation and meet delivery promises.
Responsibilities
- Hire develop and set vision for a high performing transportation team
- Apply analytics and business acumen to solve complex transportation and logistics issues
- Manage operations projects ensuring delivery of results and KPI improvements
- Develop and monitor KPIs to measure carrier performance and contractual compliance
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive operational improvements
- Communicate business objectives and results to stakeholders on a regular cadence
- Identify trends and root causes to address changes in the business
- Support learning development and succession planning for team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent
- 8+ years experience in engineering operations distribution fulfillment program management or logistics
- Proven problem solving decision making and change management skills
- Experience working with P&L data and business analytics tools such as Tableau
- Strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 15 percent of the time
