Job Description

Summary

The Senior Product Manager will lead AI/ML-powered search and discovery experiences for Nordstrom customers. This role defines product strategy and roadmaps, partners across engineering, design, and data science, and uses customer insights and experimentation to improve product discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the roadmap for AI/ML-powered discovery experiences in alignment with business and digital product strategy.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to create customer-focused experiences at the intersection of user experience, machine learning, and AI.
  • Collaborate with UX research, analytics, and merchandising to understand shopper intent and behavior.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests and use results to guide product investment decisions.
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements; manage backlogs, agile ceremonies, release planning, launch plans, and post-launch validation.

Requirements

  • Five to eight years of product management experience with demonstrated progression of scope and impact.
  • Experience leading AI/ML products such as search or recommendations, ideally for scaled consumer products or e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML product development and fluency with experimentation and analytics.
  • Ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders, influence senior leaders, and lead through ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
