Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at RH in Pleasanton, CA, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing infrastructure, security, continuous integration, deployment, and IT operations for a cloud-based commerce platform. You will work closely with Development and QA teams to enhance existing features and introduce new services, ensuring high platform availability.

• Provide strategic support for infrastructure, security, and IT operations.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams to improve features and services.
• Ensure high availability of the platform.
• Lead initiatives to define, design, and implement solutions to enhance availability and performance.
• Identify and execute automation opportunities in code deployment and problem resolution.
• Act as a subject matter expert on SRE/DevOps best practices.
• Continuously improve observability capabilities and response workflows.
• Review and audit existing solutions and system architecture.
• Create technical documentation and maintain CI/CD pipeline.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience supporting mission-critical workloads in a distributed architecture environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a distributed architecture setting.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
