Senior System Analyst - POS

Summary

Senior System Analyst responsible for managing lab devices, test data and media, release scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication for the next generation POS system. This role partners with development and upstream and downstream teams to drive releases, incident and problem management, and improvements in the SDLC and continuous delivery processes. The position is onsite in Seattle and focuses on ensuring environment stability and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and availability of lab devices for Non-Prod and QA environments
• Validate and maintain test data and test media for testing efforts
• Coordinate with stakeholders and partner teams on incidents and lab stability issues
• Schedule and coordinate release dates with all teams
• Manage and maintain release documentation, testing coordination, and bug tracking
• Communicate release progress, deployment tracking, and status reports to partners
• Identify and implement improvements to increase testing efficiency and reduce testing time
• Own and run weekly operations meetings to review incidents and prioritize fixes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in testing within a technology environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and communicate at all levels
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Git and other relevant software
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Experience with continuous delivery and release processes
