Summary
The Senior Technical Program Manager leads execution of technology programs for Store Experience Technology, partnering with product and engineering to design, build, and launch scalable in-store solutions. This role manages roadmaps, dependencies, and cross functional delivery from ideation through deployment while driving process improvements and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and maintain a 6 to 10 month delivery roadmap aligned to strategic goals.
- Partner with product management and engineering to prioritize store and operations initiatives and define success metrics.
- Manage scope, resources, schedules and trade offs across short and long term planning.
- Identify external dependencies and ensure systems meet service level objectives.
- Estimate work with engineering and establish program milestones.
- Lead programs through ideation, definition, build, testing, launch, and closure phases.
- Oversee end to end testing strategies and deployment plans coordinating cross teams.
- Produce analytics to inform performance and business decisions.
- Drive process improvements and use retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years professional program management experience in a technology environment.
- 5+ years partnering with engineering to deliver and deploy production technology solutions.
- Strong technical acumen with understanding of system design architecture and integrations.
- Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent programs and manage stakeholders across teams.
- Expertise with project management tools such as JIRA Confluence and GitLab.
- Proficient with Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
- Experience with large scale enterprise software services and drafting technical requirements.
- PMP certification and cloud experience on AWS or GCP preferred.
