Summary
Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for driving execution of technology programs within Store Experience Technology, partnering with product and engineering to plan, design, build, and launch solutions that enable in-store operations. The role owns program roadmaps, coordinates cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensures delivery aligns with strategic goals while focusing on reliability and scalability of store systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain program and delivery roadmaps for 6 to 10 month horizons.
- Partner with product management and engineering to prioritize initiatives and define success metrics.
- Manage scope, resources, schedules, and trade-offs across short and long-term plans.
- Identify and mitigate external dependencies and ensure systems meet service-level objectives.
- Estimate work with engineering and create program milestones.
- Lead programs through ideation, build, testing, launch, and support phases using appropriate methodologies.
- Oversee deployment plans and coordinate cross-team releases to ensure quality and performance.
- Drive process improvements and use retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.
- Produce analytics to inform performance and business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional program management experience in a technology environment.
- 5+ years partnering with engineering to deliver and deploy production technology solutions.
- Strong technical acumen with understanding of system design, architecture, and integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent programs and navigate ambiguous problems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across engineering product and operations.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA Confluence and GitLab.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- PMP certification and experience with cloud platforms preferred.
