Job Description

Summary

The Service Center Representative assesses repair orders and assigns technical work based on expertise, labor time, and client due dates. The role supports efficient workflow by maintaining accurate system information, monitoring order status, and escalating service issues.

Responsibilities

  • Review repair orders for technical needs, volume, and customer due dates, and help prioritize work.
  • Complete processing work to quality standards, inspect orders, and escalate additional needs or potential delays.
  • Maintain organized orders and workspaces, and coordinate supplies and workflow support with management and staff.
  • Build product and technical knowledge, collaborate on process improvements, and follow health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative business environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Technical environment experience, familiarity with repair systems, or Graduate Gemologist or GIA coursework is preferred.
