Setter Level 1

Summary

Entry level setter trainee role in a jewelry manufacturing facility learning stone setting and jeweler fundamentals through a structured six to nine month training program. The position focuses on developing hand dexterity, hand eye coordination, and familiarity with jeweler tools and production standards while working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Tiffany Co. jeweler training program to learn jewelry creation and repair techniques
• Learn to set precious stones and transition skills into production after training
• Use and become familiar with various jeweler tools techniques and processes
• Follow Tiffany Co. quality and production standards in all work
• Work safely by following required safety procedures and report incidents promptly
• Carry out assigned tasks and team requirements
• Maintain a positive respectful workplace and comply with company policies

Requirements

• Appropriate hand dexterity as demonstrated by bench assessment
• Good English communication skills both written and spoken
• Hand eye coordination suitable for detailed bench work
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow directions
• Ability to sit for long hours
• Must pass a background check
