Sewer - Easton Town Center

Summary

Perform sewing and pressing tasks in the Alterations and Tailor Shop to deliver high quality alterations and customer service. Complete alteration orders on time while using store technology and following Nordstrom service standards. Work collaboratively with the Alterations and Store Team to meet department productivity goals and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete sewing tasks according to guidelines and service standards
• Press garments and execute pressing tasks to company quality standards
• Manage workload and complete items on time to meet customer deadlines
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following procedures
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers regarding orders
• Collaborate with team members to deliver customer expectations

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Flexible availability to work schedules based on business needs
