Summary

Provide high quality sewing and pressing services for customer alterations at the Oakbrook Center location, meeting Nordstrom guidelines and service standards while delivering timely work and excellent customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete sewing and pressing tasks according to company guidelines
• Execute workload and follow through on customer alteration needs
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Follow proper processes and procedures for alterations work
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer orders
• Prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast paced environment
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Flexible availability to meet business scheduling needs
• Ability to meet productivity standards and complete items on time
