Shoe Expeditor - 59th Street

Summary

Responsible for managing the timely movement and preparation of footwear inventory within the store and stockroom at the 59th Street location. Works closely with sales and stock teams to ensure shoes are available on the sales floor and presented according to store standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack incoming shoe shipments and verify quantities and styles
• Organize and maintain backstock and stockroom cleanliness
• Prepare and stage shoes for merchandising and floor replenishment
• Coordinate with sales associates to fulfill customer requests and special orders
• Inspect footwear for defects and report discrepancies
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as scheduled
• Label and tag merchandise and ensure accurate pricing

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in retail or stockroom operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry merchandise and stand for extended periods
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
