Job Description

Summary

Part-time Shoe Operating Assistant based in Sherman Oaks responsible for supporting daily store shoe operations, ensuring merchandise presentation, and delivering high-quality customer service. Works closely with store leadership to maintain stock, organize displays, and assist customers with fitting and purchases. Role focuses on operational tasks specific to the shoe department within the store.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with shoe selection and fitting.
  • Maintain shoe displays and ensure attractive merchandising.
  • Receive and process shoe inventory and restock shelves.
  • Perform regular stock counts and reporting to management.
  • Ensure store and stockroom organization and cleanliness.
  • Support sales transactions and handle point of sale duties as needed.
  • Coordinate with store team to implement promotions and signage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of shoe fitting and sizing preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable availability for part-time scheduling including weekends.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory tasks.
